Mindfulness Mondays

Students learn how to deal with their stress, anxiety, and anger through our yoga and mindfulness classes. Students gain clarity, increase flexibility and improve their overall health through yoga and meditation. It’s the perfect program for athletes, artists, and creatives.

Truth Talk Tuesdays

Utilizing Botvin Lifeskills, an evidence-based curriculum, and a licensed therapist we delve into therapy sessions to cope and heal from traumatic experiences. We provide an opportunity for students, families, and community members to come together to address harmful behavior in a process that explores harms and needs and a path toward accountability and repair

Chess Wednesdays

Every Wednesday we teach our students strategy, planning, and decision-making skills through our chess program. We host bi-annual tournaments and invite all ages and levels to participate.

Grow MOORE Thursdays

Grow MOORE is our educational literacy program that provides students and young adults a FREE copy of the “Grow MOORE: The Six Steps to Success” paperback book. We’re located on MLK and Fairfield which happens to be a “Literacy Desert” as there is no library within walking distance. Students read and apply their newfound knowledge of financial literacy in their daily lives. These Thursdays we also lead workshops that increase career readiness, literacy, and overall reading comprehension.
